http://www.dailyutahchronicle.com/?p=2587592 did another story on our team and game’s progression. We are really excited to get this title out to the public. We are also very gracious of the “chronicle” doing another article on us. Has some good quotes from a lot of our team, not all of us could make the interview. Go give it a read!

Thanks to the wonderful art direction of our Environment Lead, Evan, and our Art Lead, Becky, our game is looking amazing. We have received great feedback for game play since the prototype, but it was not until recently that we were really able to show off what our artists have been up to. Our unique art deco style and color schemes have been well received by those who have play tested it for us. Check out the media section for a couple more screenshots.

Our first XBLIG submit

Our first submit for community review was sent in early Monday morning, around 5ish. By late afternoon Tuesday, roughly 36 hours later, we already received all of the “passes” we need to merit a green light from Microsoft to release our game. Although we are very anxious to get this title out to the community, we realize there are a few minor tweaks we can add to make it even better. We postponed our submit a couple of days so that we can make another pass on the art, and squash more bugs! Be patient with us, keep following us because we will be releasing very very soon!

Pulling long days, and later nights!

Our team has been working feverishly through the weekend to smash bugs, and polish art. Under the direction of Evan and Becky, the artists sorted all the levels and decorated them according to zone. The programmers dug tirelessly through endless lines of code to clean things up and getting the game to run swimmingly. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team, we’ll have this game out to you, our lovely gamer friends, in no time!
